We went to Hazel's dog class tonight and the trainer recommended we try a halti. We have tried just about everything else but she is still a bit of a pully monkey :( I feel bad because she won't be able to snuffle about but hopefully once she gets into the habit of walking nicely wearing this she will be able to go back to her harness or even collar and still walk nice. I hope. She doesn't hate it so far, which is good.

I promised Hazel that I would look for a special treat for her when we went to the grocery store and ended up finding her a ham bone. It was the first cooked bone she had ever had, and good lord it stunk! But I think she enjoyed it.

I have to warn you that I did not take this picture. However! I took the exact same-ish picture but it flashed and looked icky. So, STORY!
I am sitting in the living room. Hazel is also in the living room snuffling about. Dave is in the hallway or somewhere doing something or other. Suddenly Hazel starts making some weird noises and I look down to see this ---^ Hazel has gotten her head stuck between the table leg and Basil. So I scream to Dave to come quick--and bring the camera, ofc. So dave snapped this and then passed the camera to me so that I could get a shot and then I helped her to free herself. It was really amusing.
