This is how Hazel and I spend most of our days. It's very... cosy. I hope she will stop growing soon.

We got walkie-talkie things because Hazel has started crying in the mornings. So far telling her to shush is working surprisingly well. Score! Also, look at our pretty living room floor in the background :P Someday it will go down. Someday.

Usually Haze has a nondescript blob on her back but the other morning her fur got ruffled in such a way that it looked like a heart.

The greatest thing that we learned on our vacation is that Hazel will happily come and cuddle in bed after she has been let out in the morning. Win!

On Monday Hazel was very keen to sit with us, so a big chair was brought in from the living room which we shared for much of the day. When she wanted to stretch out she switched over to the office chair and had a nap.

Of course after a week of sandy oceany fun, hazel needed a bath. She was none too impressed and jumped out mid-bath, spraying bubbles everywhere and flooding the bathroom.

I couldn't find Dave's photos from the last day at Beadnell. Maybe he hasn't uploaded them yet. In any case, you can have a second of mine.

She was munching an ice cube, but you can't really tell. She looks rather pretty though.

We had lunch outside of an inn and Hazel enjoyed her own. She had massive freak outs whenever the waiter came over though as she wanted lots of fuss.

Int he car, Hazel likes to try and eat the wind. It is rather cute.

I do not remember what this castle is called. I shall ask Dave when he gets in. This is as close as we got, as they tend to frown on puppies chewing on the priceless antiques.

This is what Hazel looks like at 1 am, which is when she and her Daddy snuck downstairs to make birthday cupcakes for me.

This is how Hazel lost her first canine tooth. We were surprised to find blood on the towel after she had been dried/finished wrestling with it.

This is Hazel's pppppplllleeeease let me on your lap look. It has been coming much more often since we got home since she got used to being on the sofa with one of us. Our living room hasn't been in use in ages as it is being redecorated.

I cannot remember why this photo was taken, it was so long ago now. Sorry! It's the only picture I have from the 25th.
Photos coming!
And that was a word from our Sponsor, Hazel.
Anyway. We went away to the sea for a week and there were no internets, but I had my trusty camera. I am even considering giving you 2 pictures for each day (with half coming from the super husband) to reward your patience. We shall see.
